Adventure Reading

Adventure Reading is my quest for the world’s best reading spots. After being teased all my life for carrying a book everywhere I go, I figured I might as well make it a “thing” with a cool name, but it’s hard to define what it is. Here’s an attempt:

  • It’s bringing a book somewhere interesting and letting both the pages and the place transport you.
  • It’s letting your imagination and reality interact, like when the wind rises during the climactic battle.
  • It’s discovering that a flat rock can feel like the plushest La-Z-Boy in the middle of a strenuous hike.
  • Optional: It’s balancing your book in one hand and your phone in the other and fumbling around awkwardly to take a photo.
